No, just because a wipe claims to be biodegradable or compostable, it still cannot be flushed unless it has proof of it being Certified to Flush, which you will find on the front of a wet wipe pack.
This will depend on the size of the wipes and other matter the wipes are being flushed with. Refer to instructions and details on the pack of your wipes to confirm. Just like toilet paper, there is still a limit of how much paper can be flushed, and this applies to flushable wipes.
Like toilet paper, under flushing conditions they will disperse and breakdown. Once they have travelled through the system all the solid matter ends as compost.
Yes, flushable wipes can be placed in bins and will break down like paper when in land fill, or can be placed in green bins as they will compost.
No, bamboo is used to produce a fabric fibre that will create blockages in your toilet system if flushed.
The material used to make a flushable wipe is a wood pulp matter, the same used to make toilet paper.
The unique material used to produce CleanLIFE flushable wipes has a strong weave to ensure the integrity of the wipe remains intact while using it. Once exposed to the force of toilet flushing, the fibre weave breaks down dispersing the wipe into small fibre particles that behaves in the same way as toilet paper.
It is recommended to test the surface before using the Isopropyl Wipes as it may affect the look of the surface. If using the Isopropyl Wipe for a long period of time, it may cause discoloration, but this isn’t always the case.
CleanLIFE Hand and Surface Wipes have no scent; however, CleanLIFE Isopropyl Wipes do have an odour as they contain Isopropyl Alcohol.
CleanLIFE Hand and Surface & Isopropyl Wipes are safe to handle and are primarily designed for wiping down surfaces. We do not recommend using the wipes as a personal wipe or baby wipe.
Yes, CleanLIFE wipes are compatible with a variety of other wipe dispenser units.
Bamboo is a brilliant plant and is very fast growing producing 35% more oxygen than other hardwood trees. When used in its original form for furniture it is a great solution and a sustainable alternative to most woods. However, the processes required to make it into a material suitable for a wipe are not considered as sustainable as wood pulp and therefore we have chosen to use wood pulp from FSC-certified plantations.
